Terms and Conditions

Terms for using Stract

Last updated June 4, 2026. These terms describe the rules for using Stract.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Stract, including our websites, applications, workspaces, search tools, prospect workflows, outreach features, and related services.

By creating an account, accessing a workspace, or using Stract, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent. If you do not agree, you may not use Stract.

2. The service

Stract helps brand and marketing teams develop story angles, discover relevant podcasts, publications, journalists, creators, and other media contacts, and manage outreach activity.

The service may include generated suggestions, third-party data, search results, contact information, workflow tools, and integrations. Outputs are provided to support your judgment and should be reviewed before use.

3. Accounts and workspaces

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date.

If you create or administer a workspace, you are responsible for the users you invite, the permissions you assign, and the customer content submitted to that workspace.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Stract to:

  • Violate laws, regulations, third-party rights, or platform rules.
  • Send spam, deceptive outreach, harassment, or unlawful marketing communications.
  • Collect, enrich, export, or use personal data in a way that violates applicable privacy, data protection, or electronic communications laws.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe, or interfere with Stract or its infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious code, infringing material, or content you do not have the right to use.
  • Misrepresent Stract outputs as verified facts when they require human review.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and taxes

Paid plans, usage limits, and billing periods are described at signup, in the product, or in an applicable order form. Fees are due according to the billing terms presented to you.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable and exclusive of taxes, duties, and similar charges. We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice, but changes will not reduce a paid plan during its then-current billing period unless required by law or agreed with you.

6. Customer content

You retain ownership of the story drafts, notes, prompts, contact lists, outreach records, uploaded materials, and other content you submit to Stract.

You grant Stract the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use customer content to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions for the content you submit.

7. Third-party services and data

Stract may link to, integrate with, or rely on third-party services, data sources, email providers, search providers, and public web information. Those services and sources may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

We do not control third-party services or guarantee that third-party data is complete, current, accurate, or available. You are responsible for verifying contact details, media fit, and outreach compliance before acting on them.

8. Intellectual property

Stract and its software, design, trademarks, documentation, and service content are owned by Stract ApS or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these terms, Stract grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for your internal business purposes during your subscription or permitted use period.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Stract reliable, but the service may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, security work, outages, or events outside our control.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We will try to provide reasonable notice when a material change significantly affects paid use of the service.

10. Disclaimers

Stract is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stract ApS disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

You are responsible for your outreach strategy, campaign decisions, legal compliance, and the way you use information from Stract.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stract ApS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stract ApS total liability for claims relating to the service or these terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Stract for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Stract at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for Stract or others, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a way that may cause legal, security, or operational harm.

After termination, your right to use Stract ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. If a change is material, we will use reasonable efforts to provide additional notice.

Your continued use of Stract after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, excluding conflict of law rules. Courts in Denmark will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or the service, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Contact
